Curriculum

The PRAISE curriculum is grounded in the study of history, geography, civic engagement, leadership, and the arts. Through historical examination, personal reflection and rite of passage experiences, PRAISE scholars become high school and college-bound family and community leaders who are socially responsible, and ready to contribute personally to civic and political action. Partnerships with historical institutions and organizations make the study of history relevant and exciting as students examine original materials and first-person accounts of historic events. A thematic and interdisciplinary approach to learning challenges students to utilize the diverse skills they acquire through all the core curricular subjects.
